 OGUNJOBI CELEBRATES OLAKULEYIN AT 89

Chief Abiodun Samuel Ogunjobi, popularly known as Te-Sojue has congratulated the Balogun of Ibadan and Olubadan-designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Olalere Owolabi Olakulehin on his eighty-ninth birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message made available to press Ogunjobi prayed that God will provide the Olubadan in waiting long life and good health.

According to Ogunjobi, Jesus says in Psalm 91:16, "With long life, I will satisfy you and show you my salvation." God has called us to live long and healthy lives!

He also prayed that as the days to his coronation to the revered  throne of the Olubadan draws near, God will perfect all that concerns the celebrant and the ceremony.

As Baba sits on the throne of Olubadan, the Asiwaju of Oje said, God will grant him the grace of David and the Wisdom of Solomon to rule over Ibadan Land and the affairs of Ibadan people.

He also prayed that Ibadan and indeed the whole of Ibadan Land will witness peace and unprecedented sustainable infrastructural, human and capital development during the tenure of Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin.

Chief Ogunjobi expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State for his  role and wisdom in handling issues from the demise of Oba Balogun to the endorsement of Oba Olakuleyin. "Makinde has shown uncommon leadership qualities and love for peace", he said.

On a final note he congratulated Ibadan for sticking to the age long traditional system of ascension which has distinguished Ibadan from others since inception.
